«Theatrium in Serpukhovka directed by Theresa Durova» introduces:

the first night

  «REALITY-SHOW. COMMUTER TRAIN»

Pavlovskaya Street, # 6, at the main hall stage

«Reality-show. Commuter Train» is a topical performance. It is sharp. It is social. And it is even dangerous to some extent… It is about all at once and about each of us. It is about our ignorance and indifference. It is about our feelings and thoughts. It is about our past and future.

There are 130 passengers in total – actors and spectators – in a car, which length is 16 meters. Each features its own unique story, but far not always with a happy end. And far not every passenger has a ticket to exit… Who will be able to make it till the very end, and for whom will this ride turn out to be the last one? Who will be able to change the route? And who from all passengers, in the long run, is the main character? Maybe, it is you yourself?

This is not an experiment. This is a reality-show. Here a glass wall «is built» between participants and spectators. And you may watch with impunity what happens at arm’s length, having no awkwardness or fear. But impunity by no means guarantees a lack of consequences… Experience yourself the wheel track of our «Commuter Train».

«Reality-show. Commuter Train» is the first acting work of «Theatrium» actors Andrew Yermokhin (more than 20 lines in the theatre, was in films «The National Endowment», «The Newfound Land», «Classmates in Contact», and others) and Tatyana Mikhailyuk (about 20 theatrical lines). The performance scenario has also written by them.

Stage managers have invited actors from «Theatrium» and other theatres of Moscow to impersonate in their premiere project. Scuffle and striptease choreography has been entrusted to renowned ballet-master Arthur Oshchepkov (who has staged plastique and movement in productions of the Mossoviet theatre, Lencom, the Vakhtangov theatre, and others; he has worked with stage managers V. Mirzoev, R. Victyuk, Th. Durova, and many others). They have professional pole dancer Irina Kreidina enticed into a stage. And they have a challenge set in front of musical band Second Hand Band to compose incidental music. What has been succeeded? Watch yourself…

The commuter train is leaving at 7:07 p.m…. Manage to catch the car! Try to leave it…
